Um. Hi. I'm definitely a newbie. As in, I never thought of making soap before and I have no clue, but the pictures I've seen online (courtesy of the promo/intro posts) were so yummy that I now think about trying it out. And yes, I'm fully aware that soap isn't edible as such, so "yummy" might be the wrong term, but I noticed that's often my first reaction when I see pics of soaps and cremes and lotions et cetera that I find awesome: OMG I want to bite into that! It's weird. But to my defence, some of them do look like chocolate pieces.
Oh, I'm from Germany. So I might either struggle with the translation(s) or try to find some tutorials in my own language. At the moment, most of the sites -- even the ones for beginners -- mainly confuse me. But I'm optimistic!

I've been pretty heavy on the foodie-fragrances lately, so I definitely find them "yummy" as well. As does my kid - when he was a toddler I learnt that giving him soap that looked exactly like his favourite food was probably not the best idea!
