These incredible column-swirl soaps are by Sergio at Jabones: Alquimia de las plantas. The first reminds me of those fascinating cutaway pictures of the Earth's internal structure that I used to pore over as a kid.

a whole lot of the rainbow column swirl soaps, in many colours and configurations of swirlies.

For the secrets on how this soap is made, check out Sergio's video. Others have been trying it out - Lovin Soap has a roundup.

Vicodin soap by Karine Ka of Soap Session. For my chronic pain buddies! No fragrance in this one, just a little whisky.

I cannot go past a juicy-looking watermelon soap! This one's at The Soap Queen.

several semicircular soap bars that look just like slices of watermelon, with a green and white rind, pink centre, and black bits to resemble seeds. They're sitting on a green and white checked cloth.

two soap bars with semicircular coloured swirls in them, to look a bit like rainbows.

Chamomile Lavender at Inner Earth Soaps. I think the colours and look are so soothing.

soap bars with horizontal splodges of colour - violet, light blue, and white.

These "Black Beauty" soaps are by Camamu Soap, via The Soap Bar. The Soap Bar says they are reminiscent of a nighttime desert scene.

black and white soap bars, made with activated charcoal. The swirl is irregular and creates splodges and streaks of white in a largely black field.

Have you seen or made any lovely soap lately?
